Separate measurements from interpretation
A measured response time, a returned status code and an analysis summary are different kinds of information. Measurements describe what was observed. An AI-generated explanation proposes an interpretation of those observations. Keep the distinction clear when sharing a result.
A summary can make a long result easier to navigate, but it can omit details or make an incorrect connection. Return to the underlying data before deciding on a change.
Provide the missing context
An analysis becomes easier to evaluate when you know the target, test settings, deployment version and expected behavior. A result from a staging environment should not be read as a direct prediction for a different production setup.
- Confirm the environment and the test window.
- Check which measurements support each conclusion.
- Compare the result with a known baseline.
- Treat uncertain explanations as questions to investigate.
Validate before acting
Follow up on a suggested issue with a focused check. For example, compare a slow endpoint with its application traces rather than assuming a resource bottleneck from a summary alone. If the evidence is incomplete, record that limitation.
Avoid putting secrets or unnecessary personal data into prompts or shared reports. Keep the input relevant to the analysis task.
Keep a reviewable trail
Save the measurements, the interpretation and the action taken as separate parts of the result. That makes it easier for another team member to understand the decision and for you to revise it when new evidence appears.
